2013-2015

Objectif

L’objectif de ce projet de recherche était de formuler des options de politiques viables en relation à des enjeux qui sont d’intérêt pour les décideurs qui auront à se pencher sur l’implantation du DSPé par les organisations de soins au Canada.

Méthodologie et Résultats

Afin d’atteindre cet objectif, huit activités ont été réalisées entre octobre 2013 et février 2015:

1. Deux études de cas sur les DSPé, au Canada et en Angleterre;
2. Des entrevues téléphoniques pancanadiennes avec 32 décideurs sur l’implantation des DSPé au Canada;
3. Une consultation en ligne avec 24 décideurs sur les thèmes prioritaires de l’implantation des DSPé;
4. Une actualisation d’une revue systématique de la littérature sur les DSPé;
5. Une étude des normes juridiques et des politiques publiques gouvernant l’implantation du DSPé au Canada;
6. La tenue d’un atelier avec 18 participants de parties prenantes de l’Ontario et du Québec ayant permis le partage et l’intégration des résultats de toutes les activités énumérées antérieurement;
7. Une synthèse des données probantes basée sur les données de la littérature et les discussions tenues durant l’atelier proposant trois stratégies d’implantation des DSPé au Canada;
8. Un dialogue entre 21 représentants des parties prenantes de l’Ontario sur le sujet de politiques en lien avec l’implantation et l’utilisation des DSPé dans la province ayant pour point de départ les résultats de la synthèse des données probantes.
